Description
Curriculum follows Washington state Healthy Standards, specifically focusing on the Sexual Health standards for grades 7-12: H1.Se4 (prevention); H1.Se5 (Healthy Relationships)

The presentation reviews the difference between relative and absolute truth; how the power of media influences our decisions and behavior; introduction and reasons for dating and the idea that a student may be dating someone else’s future spouse; what respect looks like in a relationship

You, Me and an STD
Description
Curriculum follows Washington state Healthy Standards, specifically focusing on the Sexual Health standards for grades 7-12: H1.Se4 (prevention); H1.Se5 (Healthy Relationships)

A fun presentation educating on the risks of sexual involvement. This is done through student-interactive activities which brings fun and humor in the classroom but also teaches the seriousness of STIs and how easily they are transmitted.

We provide an upbeat, lifestyle-changing message from which every student can benefit. Students will be challenged to think about their choices and the impact their choices may have on their future. Subjects covered are:

Relationships Under Construction
-Teen Dating Violence-
Description
The Program is designed to help young people understand the dangers of teen dating violence and equip them to guard against human sex trafficking. Real testimonies are shared, along with warning signs to look for and worksheets to assess their own relationships.

Perception
- Exposing the Truth of Child Sex Trafficking & Discerning the Dangers of Social Media-
Description
The Perception curriculum follows the Washington State Healthy Standards, specifically focusing on the Safety Standards of H1.Sa3.6a; H4.Sa3; and H1.Sa3.6b
This presentation was created to meet the growing need to inform teens and their parents of child sex trafficking in their own backyard along with internet dangers preying on youth. Subjects included are:

Understanding the scope of the problem

How to recognize coercion and manipulations, and expose the “grooming process”

Powerful testimony from a young victim who was lured into sex trafficking

Understanding the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships

Description

This parenting workshop deals with these commonly asked questions from parents. Learn what influences your child's decision to be sexually active....or not. Discover creative ways to train your child at any age to know appropriate behavior. Investigate the difference between sex and intimacy and how to teach your kids to have healthy friendships. Review refusal skills in dealing with negative peer pressure. Learn about the risks associated with sexual activity and how to talk about this with your teen. Research has shown teens actually do want to have this conversation with their parents. They just don't know how to begin. Let us help you get the conversation started.

Becoming the Expert in Your Child's Eyes
[How to effectively talk to your child about sex]
Description
Ever wonder how you begin the conversation about sex with your child? Does even the thought of it make you sweat? Does your child look to you for answers regarding sex or would they seek out their peers? This workshop is designed to equip parents with the knowledge and confidence and to take the fear our of a unique topic. This 90-minute presentation is free of charge and comes with humor, sensitivity, and resources.

Exploring the Dangers of Child Sex Trafficking and Dangers of Social Media
Description
This workshop empowers parents to up their game in the child-rearing department when it comes to electronic devices and their adolescent children. Topics will cover the understanding of brain development at this age and why it is important for parents to plug in versus burying their heads due to unfamiliarity with social media. Additionally, information will be shared on the widespread concern of child sex trafficking with special focus on the use of media to lure children, predator tactics, what puts adolescents at increased risk, symptoms to watch for, and best of all, the greatest tip to help parents with their children in reducing the risk.
